Two-Step Verification Lost
Recover access when the RustMinerSystem two-step authenticator is lost by contacting an administrator through Telegram for verification and 2FA removal.
Two-Step Verification Lost
If the phone or authenticator app used for two-step verification is lost, admin login or sensitive actions may no longer pass the verification-code check. Do not keep retrying random codes, and do not reinstall RustMinerSystem for this issue alone.
Symptoms
- The account and password are correct, but no two-step verification code is available.
- The phone was reset, the device was replaced, or authenticator app data was lost.
- Sensitive actions such as creating ports or editing wallets require 2FA and cannot continue.
Recovery
- Confirm that the admin account, password, and safe access path are still correct.
- Contact an administrator through Telegram and explain that the authenticator is lost.
- Provide the ownership-verification information requested by the administrator, such as account details, authorization information, local UUID, or related purchase/authorization records.
- After verification, the administrator can help remove two-step verification.
- After access is restored, bind two-step verification again and securely save the QR code or recovery information.
Do not post admin passwords, verification codes, private keys, or complete sensitive server information in public groups. If verification material is required, follow the administrator’s instructions in a private chat.
